Yes, the1st peer-to-peer LiveStream Protocol implemented from DLive.org as a Windows Program first.
The first peer-to-peer Livestream protocol program that allows anyone to start a livestream without the cpu/memory power and the bandwidth of a CDN server created from Dlive.org the creators of bittorent as we understand from this page:Here and we can download and install it in a Windows 10, 2004 build and later only until now! You can view the full description of the PPSP Peer Protocol RFC: Here
And yes, dlive protocol needs only your pc and your streaming pc (if you don't have 2 in 1 streaming PC) and nothing else. No extra logins in servers for the streamer or the clients that want to view the PPSP Livestream.
Streamers have only to use the program to stream and you can download it from DLive.org page or this direct link.
Streamers now should follow only these 3 steps to stream their content.
- Create a channel
- Add the RTMP link to OBS
- Share the link with the viewers
Viewers can watch the stream from inside a browser with the Requirements below or a program that understands the new DLive Stream Protocol because it is not the default magnet url (magnet:?xt=urn:btlive:).
